Job Description:

This position will support AWG's financial reporting area in various aspects including researching and resolving accounting issues, assisting with budgeting and quarterly forecasting, accurately preparing and processing weekly and period end journal entries and reports and completing account reconciliations. This position will be required to work closely with other areas in the company including department Corporate department heads.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepare and process journal entries, reports and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor assigned corporate departments' financials. Research and resolve any issues as well as approve vouchers and expense reports for departments.
  • Assist with budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
  • Assist the department manager in providing support and assistance.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel with knowledge of Windows and PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to grow and advance with the company; openness to relocation with advancement a plus
