The Marketing Manager position

The Marketing Manager must have

experience implementing all marketing strategies in-house with a law firm and/or company, rather than from an outside marketing firm. This position is full-time, in-office, based in D.C.

Responsibilities and Duties Implement marketing strategies that arealigned with the overall business objectives of the law firm. Ensure

that all related vendors, campaigns, and processes are optimized and functioning at full capacity to advance the firm's overall goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to define marketing goals, the firm’s overarching message, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with broader organizational strategies. Interpret marketing reports produced by digital marketing team, and optimize digital channels for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Create and manage traditional marketing channels, such as print, events, and sponsorships, to reach target audiences effectively. Coordinate with teams to implement marketing strategy, set clear goals and expectations, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations. Qualifications and Skills A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field; an MBA is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of in-house law firm/company experience (not outside marketing firm) leading, developing, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals. Prior Law Firm Marketing experience is crucial for understanding the unique challenges and regulations of the industry. Knowledge of the law/legal services sectors is highly preferred. Familiarity with digital media, digital channels, experience in digital marketing, including online advertising, social media, and content marketing, is crucial. Experience in building and maintaining strong brand identities, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and compliance, to achieve common objectives. Candidates should have a proven track record of success, ideally with progressive responsibility in marketing positions. Must be able and willing to work out of our DC office.
