Financial Auditor – Government & Non-Profit
We’re seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to join a FANTASTIC firm in the Delaware County area You will play a pivotal role in developing audit strategies, objectives, scope, and compliance by reviewing financials and information for government, non-profit and business clients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial audits ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Review financial statements, general ledger accounts, and supporting documentation for postings.
Perform bookkeeping and consulting for clients with accounting best practices.
Develop audit plans and perform risk assessments for potential risk analysis.
Evaluate internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare detailed audit report findings, recommendations, and findings.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
4-5+ years of CPA firm audit experience.
MUST HAVE - Knowledge of Government and Non-Profit Audits
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and accounting principles.
Computer savvy with proficiency in using audit software.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
