Position Summary: The Controller is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities in the accounting department, ensures that sound and reliable accounting practices are adhered to and is responsible for preparing detailed account analysis and management reports, consolidating various companies, and distributing timely and accurate financial information to the management team.


Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Prepares the monthly consolidation of all Companies, and prepares the monthly financial reporting package

• Lead contact for annual audit and all correspondence with auditors

• Prepares detailed Account analysis for 3+ companies

• Responsible for cash management daily

• Ensures that invoices, payments, and payroll are current and accurately compiled.

• Responsible for preparation of weekly management KPI reports

• Understands cost accounting and prepares contribution margin reports by market segment

• Looks for better ways to service the financial area in planning for future needs (i.e. the computer, revised systems, relations between finance and various other corporate functions).


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or Finance

• Must be a top performer with a minimum 4- 5 years of experience.

• Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships (Excellent communication skills, both written and oral).

• Strong problem-solving skills, and detail oriented.

• Auditing experience preferred

• Cost accounting knowledge preferred

• Fixed asset experience preferred
