Financial Auditor – Government & Non-Profit

We’re seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to join a FANTASTIC firm in the Delaware County area You will play a pivotal role in developing audit strategies, objectives, scope, and compliance by reviewing financials and information for government, non-profit and business clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial audits ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Review financial statements, general ledger accounts, and supporting documentation for postings.
  • Perform bookkeeping and consulting for clients with accounting best practices.
  • Develop audit plans and perform risk assessments for potential risk analysis.
  • Evaluate internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare detailed audit report findings, recommendations, and findings.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 4-5+ years of CPA firm audit experience.
  • MUST HAVE - Knowledge of Government and Non-Profit Audits
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and accounting principles.
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in using audit software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
