This is where you come in… SUMMARY: The Project Financial Manager (PFM) is an integral member of the project team who works closely with internal teammates and is responsible for project coordination with an emphasis on accounting and budget administration. The PFM is a working leader who will manage a team of 3-5 people who handle the administrative function of the project delivery process and construction activities, including document and information distribution, monitoring and coordinating financial activities, financial report collation and communication support throughout the entire life cycle of a project. A critical aspect of this role is to lead, coach and develop the Project Coordinator team and hold them accountable for assigned work. The PFM must have the capability to meet schedule and deliverable requirements accurately, promptly and professionally as directed by Project Directors, Preconstruction leadership and project teams. The PFM will also collaborate and communicate with vendors/suppliers and contractors during all aspects of the project as needed by the PM to improve the efficiency and reliability of project execution. The PFM must also effectively execute coordination and communications with project teams and PFCs to ensure scheduled targets and assigned deliverables are completed in a timely manner. The Project Financial Manager reports to the Director of Preconstruction Services. S/he will also have substantial interaction with and receive direction from execution S/VPs project leaders and project team members. The PFM must be able to work in a matrix organization where working with and through others to achieve the project goals. This is a full-time FLSA non-exempt position. The position requires 40 work hours per week with the ability to work more if necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Management Oversees the Project Financial Coordinators Monitors and audits all projects to ensure document and process compliance Review and approve all time off, upholding attendance expectations Motivates employees to achieve organizational goals Leads daily huddle Maintains effective relationships with clients, contractors

and internal clients Considered a resource by teammates Pre-construction Facilitate initial steps in

project award process and serve as a key communicator

during the process. Attends and supports the Project Director with Owner Expectations. Attends public bid openings. Issues contracts and manages

contractor compliance, with emphasis on receiving

insurance certificates, payment bonds and performance bonds. Construction Maintains tracking logs and receives required project documentation (i.e. schedule of values, labor rates, bonds, bond riders, etc.) Processes CCOs, POs, PCOs including cost compilation and issues resolution. Assists management of project financials including Contingency Allowance Report and actual spend tracking on a routine basis maintaining accuracy of costs associated with each project and project documentation. Reviews for accuracy and processes subcontractor invoices monthly. Prepares client billing monthly. Provides technical support to consultants, architects, engineers, owners, and employees for Procore (document management). Facilitates and maintains effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, owners, and trade contractors. Supports the project management team with

the

distribution of project
