Role Overview:

The Project Management Specialist is tasked with overseeing the delivery of gas and electric services to both residential and commercial/industrial clients.

This role requires a solid understanding of Gas and/or Electric Distribution Systems.

The Project Management Specialist will need to effectively prioritize and manage projects of varying sizes in alignment with customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the primary representative of the company to clients, facilitating communication between the customer, the organization, and other involved parties.

Assessing customer and system demands, keeping clients informed about project progress, generating tasks for other departments, providing cost assessments, identifying necessary permits, and scheduling work orders.

Project scoping, analyzing distribution design needs, and coordinating prerequisites for successful project execution.
Fieldwork may be necessary to meet with clients on-site.

Educational Requirements:
A 2-year associate degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline (48 scientific or technical credit hours)

OR
completion of two years of college coursework (60 credits) towards a Bachelor's degree in a technical area.

Essential Skills:
Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks and transition between them efficiently while maintaining organization.
Anticipate and comprehend the implications of actions/procedures on various systems.
Exhibit leadership qualities, strong collaboration skills, and the capability to work autonomously on intricate projects.
Proficiency in computer-assisted drafting (CAD) or other relevant systems/software/programs such as SAP.
