Summit Credit Union has an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Peak Universal Banker for our State Street location. As a Peak Universal Banker, you get to work with our members to improve their financial lives during high volume hours, especially Fridays and Saturdays. This is a part time position (about 15-19 hours per week).

Job Specifications

  1. Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills essential for projecting a positive image as representative of the Credit Union.
  2. Must have or be able to attain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.
  3. Requires judgment to solve day-to-day unique and in-depth problems but usually within established guidelines.
  4. Requires education equivalent to a four-year high school education.
  5. Previous customer experience required (at least 1 year); financial experience preferred.
  6. Work requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Basic mathematical skills required, including the ability to perform interest, pay-off, dividend and certificate penalty calculations.
  8. In depth knowledge of basic deposit accounts and standard branch operational (opening and closing) procedures.
  9. Ability to accept loan applications and payments as well as perform routine maintenance on basic consumer loans.
