The team operates at the highest levels within the organization and regularly works with the C-Suite and other Senior Leaders internally and externally to foster strong operational partnerships, and responsible management of our carrier portfolios. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple departments at SageSure as we continue our rapid growth.What you'd be doing: Act as primary day-to-day operational contact for each of SageSure's carrier partnersOwn the intake, triage, and coordination of cross-functional requests across all aspects of SageSure's carrier relationships (e.g. Finance, Product Development & Implementation, Business Intelligence, Data Management, etc.)Develop operational KPIs/Carrier Health Scorecards and regularly report on results to SageSure leadershipCraft and implement strategic initiatives to streamline operations and improve carrier operational healthMonitor the pipeline of Insurance Product updates and brief our carrier partners on relevant changesEnsure successful execution of key underwriting/portfolio profitability initiatives (e.g. rate & guideline changes, exposure management efforts, etc.)Drive adherence to contractual obligations across the businessCoordinate delivery of statutory/regulatory reporting and data calls, ensuring data is accurate and delivered on timeMaintain schedule of statutory/regulatory reporting obligations as well as internal and external audits to ensure all are appropriately prioritized and delivered per prescribed deadlinesBuild repository of operating procedures and reference materials for the Carrier Operations teamWe're looking for someone who has:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Accounting or other a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience working in insurance operations, ideally within homeowners insurance spaceExtremely strong communication and interpersonal skillsProven track record of successful cross-functional project managementPrior experience building and managing scalable processesStrong presentation skills and comfort engaging with executive audiencesAbility to draft detailed business requirements and comprehensive project plansHigh level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPointAbility to coach and develop individuals around themPropensity for making data based decisionsA keen eye for detail and obsession with precisionExcellent organizational and time management skillsHighly preferred candidates also have:MBARelevant insurance designations such as CPCU, ARe, ARM, AINS, etc.Project Management Professional CertificationProficiency with SQL, Alteryx, Domo, PowerBIProficiency with Smartsheet, JiraKnowledge of insurance carrier regulatory requirements and industry best practicesAbout SageSure:As a Best Places to Work in Insurance Recipient for four years in a row (2020-2023), SageSure, one of the largest residential property insurance managing general underwriter (MGU) in the United States, is pioneering ways people protect their American Dream.A leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, SageSure was founded in 2009 to deliver reliable products, exceptional customer experiences, and strong underwriting results in challenging insurance markets.
