Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Sales Director to lead our sales team in Chicago. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, develop strategic sales plans, and expand our client base on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
