Join our team and work for an organization that will help you grow personally and professionally while giving you the satisfaction of knowing that your efforts are helping others reach their potential.You can learn more about our 100+ stores, donation centers and career centers and how our mission helps local job seekers at .What youll be doing:As a Floor Technician you will provide daily restorative cleaning of floors using various mechanical and powered cleaning equipment to ensure a clean and maintained environment.Remove wax build-up from baseboard, corners and edges of floorsStrip or scrub and refinish appropriate floor surfacesScrub ceramic floor tile areasWash walls with detergent germicide or neutral cleanerRemove spots from carpet andor upholsteryExtract dirt from carpet andor upholsteryDust mop, damp mop and burnish appropriate floor surfacesComply with all safety policies and proceduresMaintain a safe work environment for customers and employeesMaintain and clean equipmentPerform preventive maintenance of floor equipment to ensure equipment is clean and orderly at all timesNotify supervisor or manager of equipment needing repair andor replacementFollow all work procedures and standards according to the quality management systemComply with company policies and proceduresMonitor all areas in addition to common areasPerform other floor care functions as needed or requiredRequirements: A High School Diploma or equivalentAvailable for shift workKnowledge or experience in floor care andor cleaning methods, materials and equipmentThe ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with your supervisor and other co-workersAbility to lift 50 pounds or more routinelyWorking Environment ConditionsRequirements: Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength and be able to stand or walk for long periods of timeDoes this sound like a place for you?
