Join our team and work for an organization that will help you grow personally and professionally while giving you the satisfaction of knowing that your efforts are helping others reach their potential.You can learn more about our 100+ stores, donation centers and career centers and how our mission helps local job seekers at .What we offer: Weekly paychecksPaid time off for vacation and holidays25% employee discountHealth, dental and vision insurance for staff and their familiesComplimentary uniformsAccess to free job skills training at Goodwill Career CentersWhat youu0027ll be doing:Lead and support Floor Technicians on assigned tasks to ensure the cleanliness of floors using various mechanical and powered cleaning equipment.Perform preventive maintenance of floor equipment in addition to assisting with floor cleaning duties which includes stripping, scrubbing, waxing, buffing and carpet cleaningAssist with monitoring the teams time and schedulesDirect floor techs to properly move furniture and merchandise prior to floor care servicesSupervise floor techs in the proper use of equipment and suppliesAssist in ordering supplies, tools and equipment from approved vendors as neededNotify manager of equipment needing repair andor replacementMake recommendations for additional services or service improvement to the Floor Tech ManagerMaintain a safe work environment for customers and employeesEnsure Floor Techs follow all work procedures and standards according to the quality management systemRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredTwo (2) years of experience in floor tech or custodial servicesStrong knowledge of floor care and custodial servicesAbility to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipmentAbility to establish and maintain working relationships with manager and staffWorking Environment Conditions:The ability to push, pull and lift 30lbs. with or without accommodationsMust be able to meet all physical requirements to perform all duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand andor walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to work various shifts,EqualOpportunityEmployerDescription:Equal Opportunity EmployerProtected VeteransIndividuals with Disabilities,PayTransparencyPolicyStatement:The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
