We're seeking a Anesthesia Technician, Emory Midtown Hospital responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety and care for all patients.
This individual will:
- Ensures the availability of supplies for the provision of anesthesia services.
- Sets up, stocks and maintains specialty carts and machines, anesthesia agents, and IV fluids, including the exchange of medication trays. Maintains equipment and related supplies in aseptic condition.
- Cleans and disinfects contaminated medical equipment, retrieves medical equipment and devices from other areas of the hospital. Follows federal, JCAHO, and organizational guidelines for sterile techniques and infection control.
- Disinfecting of Equipment -Responsibility Description: Cleans and disinfects contaminated anesthesia machine, monitor, cables and other key medical equipment.
- Anesthesia Turnover and Stocking
- Anesthesia Techs may be required to stock Medications Kits/ Cassettes, trays or carts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred.
- and one (1) year of healthcare related work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
