GROUP ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Overview:

The Group Account Director is responsible for the overall management of multiple client accounts and contributes to overall agency growth and achievement of annual client and agency goals. They also aggressively pursue new ways to contribute to overall agency operations, culture and profitability.

What you're responsible for:
  • independently lead and make decisions that align with client, agency and team needs and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior level clients (CMOs & VPs) and agency working teams.
  • Oversees the development of yearly planning ensuring we're constantly pushing to drive our client's business forward and ours
  • Effectively push internal teams to ensures all agency output is to the highest standard from strategy to creative to media.
  • Grows client scopes and proactively brings opportunities to Account Leadership.
  • Responsible for account profitability and team management.
  • Contributes to the management of the department including team training and development, overseeing, and conducting performance reviews, resolving team conflict and challenges and staffing needs.
  • Ability to not only develop c-suite presentations that tell an inspiring, clear and strategic story, but have the presence that delivers a powerful and clear story.
  • Participates in and contributes to new business activities of the agency as required.

  • Successful at managing and retaining strong client and internal agency relationships across multiple accounts.
  • Successful at fostering strong, cohesive agency working teams.
  • Navigates the resolution of client, agency, and cross-agency disputes and challenges.
  • Demonstrated confidence, authority and level-headed decision-making as the agency's leadership voice on assigned accounts.
  • You are a trusted leader, not only on your client's business, but how you carry yourself and help solve challenges with junior staff and extended agency teams.
  • You are the calm the chaos, the team looks to you for guidance and solutions in every aspect of the business.
  • Properly manages up to Account Leadership on the business, the team, the work while also identifying areas of opportunity or watchouts.
