Regional Truck Sales Manager Role Summary:

As a Regional Sales Manager for New Heavy and Medium Trucks, you will be responsible for a sales team in our Eau Claire territory while managing store sales process and performance, customer prospecting, qualifying and relationship building. Essential and Specific Responsibilities for this position are outlined below.

Regional Truck Sales Manager Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support new business development and growth for this territory for new and used trucks whether it is stock, medium and heavy- duty truck sales.
  • Achieve or exceed annual, quarterly and monthly goals and objectives.
  • Constantly improve sales effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Work closely with our other departments to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Regional Truck Sales ManagerSpecific Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coach, train and effectively manage your sales teams and the overall profitability of the regions sales efforts thru relationships and prospecting.
  • Provide strategic direction and tactical, day to day application of the sales process within an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop annual, quarterly and monthly goals and objectives for the territory and individual sales reps supporting it.
  • Track and report sales performance within assigned territory
  • Support the initiatives of other departments within the dealership.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Regional Truck Sales Manager Professional Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the highest degree of energy, self-confidence and integrity and the ability to perform well without daily supervision
  • Ability to successfully negotiate with prospects/customers at all management levels
  • Ability to work under pressure both externally and internally across department lines, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional Customer Service Orientation and phone skills to reach Decision Makers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to adapt at quickly learning new business software systems CRM, inventory managements systems/Etc.
  • Some travel may be required
