Allied Machine & Engineering, headquartered in Dover, Ohio, is a leading manufacturer of holemaking and finishing cutting tool systems. Our tooling solutions deliver the lowest cost per hole in a wide range of applications.
ROLE: To effectively set-up and run production on standard and special product on CNC lathes within the cell.
Hours: 10PM-6:30AM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Train in the following areas, Upload & Download programs, Setup and Turn parts to print dimensions, inspect parts for quality, and effectively run production.
· Process orders according to appropriate schedule and/or supervisor’s direction, and properly stage product for the next operation.
· Observe and report areas that need addressed.
· Associate shall maintain the appropriate tool kit per the "Associate Tool Policy".
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
· High School Graduate or GED equivalent
Experience
Working knowledge in the manufacture of Holders.
Previous Lathe experience preferred.
Experience in the use of indicator & height stand, micrometers, Depth micrometers, comparator, contracer.
Skills
Good Organizational and planning skills.
Minimum Requirements
· Ability to lift 32 lbs.
· On feet for 8 hrs.
· Ability to read Indicators, calipers, comparators, micrometers
· Ability to follow schedules
