Apprentice Machinist

Allied Machine & Engineering, a leading manufacturer of cutting tool systems, is seeking a skilled Apprentice Toolmaker to join our team. As an Apprentice Toolmaker, you will play a critical role in manufacturing and fabricating tools, jigs, and fixtures according to print specifications.

• Produce high-quality tools, jigs, and fixtures using various manufacturing processes
• Operate CNC machining centers, grinders, and other equipment to precision-cut and assemble components
• Program and set up machining centers to optimize production efficiency
• Develop expertise in reading complex blueprints and specifications
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure accuracy and precision
• Collaborate with the Master Toolmaker to develop skills and knowledge

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Programmable machining experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
