The Work You'll Do:
As a Regulatory Specialist, the primary responsibility is to provide substantive research and analysis of rate changes, form changes, and compliance issues.
More specifically you will:
Be part of the team responsible for our mission-critical tax content management process
Become a 'tax' and 'compliance' subject matter expert - understanding how tax rules work, what they are intended to do, and how they are properly supported in software.
Research and identify rate, rule, and form changes as they occur and/or determine how those changes may be accurately reflected in our solutions.
Enhance and evolve the use of automation in our tax content management process.
Develop and foster cross-functional relationships with the Product and Development teams, Client Support, Professional Services, Compliance Services as well as with external state regulators.
Provide timely and accurate information to our clients when questions arise as to the accuracy of the tax rules in our solution.
