Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Environment Health & Safety based in Los Angeles CA. As the Director of EHS for Dependable Supply Chain Services, you will oversee all aspects of environmental health and safety, occupational health, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and process safety. You will work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to implement and execute related programs and initiatives to ensure the safety of our employees and the environment.
Qualifications
- 15 Years of Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Process Safety
- Knowledge of environmental compliance regulations and requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Third-party logistics experience is required.
- Experience in supply chain and logistics, transportation, or related fields
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
- A Masters degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field is preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Safety Professional, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance officer, or related certification is preferred.
