Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY

Provides leadership in ensuring the continuity and consistency of the research proposal process. Facilitates the protocol process from submission to completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates and supervises team members' work product before, during, and after committee meetings.

  • Identifies, coordinates, and evaluates need for compliance reviews. Interprets findings, develops recommendations, and ensures appropriate follow-up.

  • Develops goals and objectives for the department based on interpretation of institutional and regulatory policies.

  • Analyzes and evaluates ongoing departmental programs to identify areas needing adjustments and/or improvements.

  • Creates, supervises, and constructs complex quality assurance audits of researchers and research staff.

  • Develops and provides training and acts as internal consultant to staff, committee members, and the research community. Develops training for committee members and the research community.
