Contract Business Analyst

LaSalle Network is seeking a skilled Contract Business Analyst to collaborate with our government client on several critical system replacements or repurchases. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in liaising between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, creating architectural documents, scoping projects, and producing supporting documentation for procurement. The projects may adhere closer to waterfall methodologies, with some agile-focused custom builds.

Contract Business Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for system replacements or repurchases
  • Map out architectural documents, scope documents, and other supporting materials for procurement processes
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout project lifecycles
  • Provide expertise in security and network capabilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate the pre-work and follow through projects to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives
  • Assist in the assessment of transportation and government-related complexities, including federal and state regulatory requirements
  • Support the management of telecommunications infrastructure, including ITP phones, fiber cabling, and security systems
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by adding templates and standardization to the Project Management Office (PMO)

Contract Business Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in government or similar environments
  • Strong understanding of system replacement or repurchase processes
  • Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Experience with security and network capabilities, including regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, preferably in a government setting
  • Process improvement experience, particularly in PMO standardization
  • BA certification is a plus
  • Transportation or government experience
  • Background in telecom industry
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulatory requirements
  • Ability to navigate complexities in project environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This Business Analyst position is remote with the occasional onsite in Nashville. It is slated to be a 12-month contract opportunity with the potential to extend, and the hourly rate for this position is between $35-50/hour.
