Job Description:
Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Recruiter to join our team and support the recruitment needs of a federal agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting, particularly within the federal sector, and will be adept at managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruitment agencies.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to build a diverse pipeline of candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications to ensure candidates meet the required qualifications and possess the necessary security clearances.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers.
  • Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit through interviews and other assessment methods.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal laws and agency policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of recruitment activities and candidate information.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners.
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, providing them with a positive recruitment experience.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including coordination of security clearances and required training.
  • Provide support and guidance to new hires during the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities, progress, and metrics to agency leadership.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the federal sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal hiring regulations and procedures.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain the necessary security clearances.
