Job Duties and Responsibilities As part of our team, you will help build the financial foundation that makes cutting-edge innovation possible. You'll help establish and improve processes as we scale our Retail Wireless business and provide insight into our financial performance to help the business make better decisions. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare month-end journal entries to ensure an accurate and timely close * Analyze, investigate, and explain variances in the monthly income statement and balance sheet * Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain reconciliation subledger schedules * Work with business partners in IT, Billing, and Business Operations teams to stay up to date on the latest product offerings * Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data Skills, Experience and Requirements The ideal candidate will be excited about a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that rewards innovation, proactivity, and teamwork. This is a hands-on position with direct access to senior management and will play an important role in our success. Education and Experience: * Bachelor and/or master's degree(s) in accounting * CPA, or equivalent qualification a plus Skills and Qualifications: * Inherent curiosity and eagerness to learn complex and ever-evolving businesses * Advanced Excel skills * Self-motivated, able to problem solve creatively and meet expanding business needs as circumstances require Salary Ranges Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits. The base pay range shown is a guideline.
