About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our team at Digicomm International. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in supporting our Controller and Accounting Manager on various projects, process improvements, and workflow documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation and posting of standard journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare budget to actual variance analysis.
  • Support the development and implementation of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Manage full cycle fixed assets.
  • Prepare annual insurance audit filings.
  • Prepare daily banking reports and reconciliations.
  • Perform analysis on variances in inventory accounts.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year and the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus based upon personal and company performance. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance in a position equivalent to Senior Staff Accountant.
  • Experience with GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Expert level MS Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and creating comprehensive reports.
  • ERP experience, Sage 100 experience a plus.
