The Warehouse Representative is responsible for all tasks related to the storage, handling, and shipping of products within the warehouse. This role requires a proactive individual who can work efficiently and ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted smoothly and safely. Incumbent should demonstrate urgency, attention to detail and a positive attitude in every task performed.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Process shipping and receiving for local warehouse, including loading and unloading materials.
  • Receive parts and components - check and sign delivery slips and assist with unloading as necessary.
  • Inspect all incoming goods against packing slips, report quantity discrepancies and damaged goods.
  • Prepare packing lists and labels for shipment of goods.
  • Process shipments and inventory transfers in inventory management system.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts, as directed.
  • Operate dolly, pallet jack or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store material.
  • Maintain storage area, organize and place stock on shelves.
  • Perform daily warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Communicate with customers both internally and externally.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Participate in all required training programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
