** Job Description** **Department Summary** Our communications team is made up of a variety of storytellers with a united purpose. They work cross-functionally to communicate the DISH story to journalists, colleagues, thought leaders and industry experts. From media relations to internal message building, they tell DISHs unique story of innovation. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** The Corporate Communications Manager for Retail Wireless will lead the development and execution of integrated B2C communications strategies for the companys growing retail wireless business, including Boost Mobile and Republic Wireless. We are looking for someone who is an efficient task manager skilled in strategic communication planning and execution, has experience in building media relationships across tech, business and consumer media outlets, and demonstrates a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage agency resources. They must be adaptable, high-energy and thrive in a fast-paced environment. **Day-to-day job responsibilities** * Develop and execute strategic communications plans that are aligned with the needs of the business, engage partners, drive brand affinity and support customer growth; lead proactive media programs. * Partner with marketing, sales and operations teams to develop compelling stories that amplify DISHs leadership position and raise awareness about the companys offerings. * Understand and simplify complex ideas/technical issues and make them relatable to those outside the industry. * Provide strategic communications counsel and constructive feedback to executives; develop messaging and prepare executives for speaking engagements; staff interviews and presentations. * Serve as communications subject matter expert on retail wireless, as well as follow public relations best practices for integrated campaigns, measurement, trends and media opportunities. * Create materials including press releases, blog posts, media pitches, social media posts, fact sheets, FAQs, executive bios and measurement reports. * Secure national, local and trade earned media placements; actively pitch, conduct proactive follow-up, and track and report results. * Model a collaborative and team-oriented approach. * Work cross-functionally throughout the business. **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Skills and experience** * Progressive levels of public relations experience in B2C communication strategies. * Proven ability to leverage influential media contacts, lead cross-functional teams and generate results. * Bachelors degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or similar applicable field. * 8-12 years of professional PR/communications experience. * Solid grasp of AP style and the ability to draft all media materials based on these guidelines. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong media relations skills; experience writing news releases, blog posts, pitches, speeches and other written materials. * Demonstrated ability to use creative thinking to develop PR opportunities, media stories and social media content. * Well-developed critical thinking and decision-making skills; the ability to formulate a clear viewpoint on complicated issues, communicate recommendations and present new ideas to management. * Strict attention to detail and the ability to work against tight deadlines; solid organizational and project management skills; the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage projects autonomously. **Travel required:** * Up to 40% local travel within the Denver-metro area. * Up to 10% domestic travel outside of the Denver-metro area. **Schedule:** * Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet time-sensitive deadlines. **Salary Range** Compensation: $95,000.00/Year - $120,000.00/Year **Benefits** From versatile health perks to new career opportunities, check out our benefits on our
