As a Junior Engineer you will perform engineering design, analyses, and provide engineering support in developing/evaluating specific research areas associated with evolving security technologies. You will assist in the preparation of technical plans, reports, and technology studies; reviews and comments on past and present work related to specific research areas; prepare briefing material on ongoing activities; attend meetings with customer and other relevant contractor personnel in order to better understand engineering issues related to transportation security.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering related field from an accredited college or university, including studies in the areas of research concepts, principles, practices, and techniques of research engineering in electrical/electronics, mechanical, or materials.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Requires Secret Security Clearance or higher and DHS Suitability.
