In this role, you will be part of the Operations Support Team. Responsible for inventory control, logistics, expediting and other support functions that supports daily and long-term operational needs.

Responsibilities: Support DBID badge onboarding for both internal and external personnel. Ensure administrative locations are fully stocked with administrative supplies and consumables. Work directly with leadership to support various team initiatives, this includes but not limited to team building events and functions. Take ownership and manage the Operational Team's home page. Responsible for upkeep and progress Statusing. Requisitioning, receiving, storing, and issuing inventory, tooling, consumables and other assets to technicians and operators. Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5S). Must be able to work well with others, take direction and execute swiftly, be mindful of process improvement opportunities, and be able to problem solve. Monitor the flow/velocity of jobs through the production line and partner with Production Control to ensure work completes on time to schedule. Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages. Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission. Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from WIP locations as required. Prepare for, conduct, and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts and site audits. Identify, catalog, and report manufacturing delays, sources, and resolutions needed to Operations Supervisors and Managers Operate various equipment in support of daily operations. This includes but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, lift tables etc. to ensure safe hardware handling operations.

Assist in the implementation of a robust materials management process that reflects best practices, to include material purchasing, handling, storage, control, and distribution of MRO inventory.

Identify, catalog, and report manufacturing delays, sources, and resolutions needed to Operations Supervisors and Managers Aggressively enforce safe material handling practices Qualifications: High School Diploma, Accredited GED or equivalent vocational certifications or training 2+ year of Inventory Control, Tool Crib and/or Material Handling Experience or 2+ year of Administrative Experience. Experience working with a cross functional team. Demonstrated understanding and can apply continuous improvement concepts. Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform acute work. Ability to lift 50lbs, unassisted. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion. Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary. Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel on occasion. Must be able to pass DBIDS background check. Role will be on a military installation. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Excellent interpersonal and Communication Skills (Verbal and Written) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge with welding consumables and tooling. Ability to handle multiple duties concurrently based on workload dispersion, program priorities and management and customer decisions. Knowledge of backflush and Kanban process. Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and/or inventory control applications. Experience with activities related to planning and/or scheduling.
