Outbound Customer Service Representative

- Shift: Full time - Monday to Friday - we have two shifts available: 11am - 7:15pm CST OR 11:45am - 8pm CST
- 37.5 hour work weeks
- Pay - 18 an hour, weekly pay, direct deposit
- Contract indefinite opportunity (anticipated to be 5 to 6 months and will be extended as needed)
- Start date - ASAP
- Manage large amounts of outbound calls in a timely manner - 55 calls per hour
- Goal is to transfer customers directly over to a licensed insurance agent
- Metrics - transfer rate of 50 % (ex: if you talk to 100 customers in a day, the goal is to transfer 50 % / 50 customers to a licensed agent)
- Follow communication scripts, prompts, call flows when handling different topics
- Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics
- Identify customer's need and clarify information for Call Center Agents
- Seize the opportunity to transfer calls immediately or schedule appointments, where applicable
- Build sustainable relationships by interacting in a professional and caring manner
- Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensive manner
- Meet personal, team and site call transfer targets
- High school graduate or equivalent (some college a plus)
- 1+ years experience in a professional call center and/or telemarketing environment
- Embrace the latest technologies available
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills and basic software packages
- Acts decisively and demonstrates good judgment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and decision-making skills
