Responsibilities:Position reports to the Manager of Philanthropy or designee. Build a sustainable Corporation & Foundation and State/Federal giving program to support system-wide philanthropic priorities. Develop, manage and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies for Corporate & Foundation and State/Federal grants, sponsorships and donations. Oversee all aspects of prospect research, proposal creation and solicitation, including interfacing with key internal stakeholders and departments, including Finance, Health Informatics, Information Services, Physicians and clinical program leaders, to research, write, package and submit letters of intent and successful proposals. Manage a calendar of grants and activities including due dates, acquisition, renewal, stewardship, recognition and annual reporting of Corporate & Foundation and State/Federal metrics, including the implementation of necessary tracking tools. Establish long-term partnerships, strengthen existing relationships and initiate new contacts within the Corporate & Foundation sector while managing all aspects grant solicitation. In addition, assist Philanthropy Team with Events, Annual Fund, Major Gifts, Planned Giving and Special Projects, as needed.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in related field or Master's Degree preferred. Successful track record of researching and securing corporate and foundation grants, as well as knowledge of philanthropy principles and fundraising programs preferred.
- Experience in Philanthropy goal setting, strategic planning and implementation required.
- Track record of successful planning and meeting fundraising objectives, managing prospects/donors, securing grants, evaluating results and developing corrective strategies preferred.
- Strong organizational, motivational skills required.
- Familiarity with development software (i.e. Raisers Edge) and Internet Resources preferred.
- Three years (3) experience in development preferred; experience in healthcare/medical field preferred.
- Writing sample required.

Pay Range:
USD $75,150.40 - USD $126,380.80 /Hr.
