POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Partner Compliance will be responsible for keeping Independent Authorized Dealers and their Sales Representatives within compliance of Freedom Forever's various requirements, guidelines, and policies. The position proactively and continuously ensuring that all Dealers and Sales Representatives are adhering to Freedom's policies, including ethical marketing and sales practices, and facilitating the review of potential infractions as well as execution of judgements against individuals found to have committed infractions. The Manager, Partner Compliance must have in-depth knowledge of the residential solar industry, the solar sales & installation process, and Freedom Forever's internal processes, as well as a basic understanding of contract law, state contractor requirements, and other topics of special interest.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage a team of Dealer Administrators and Compliance Specialists who will carry out the day-to-day administrative functions of the department
  • Develop compliance review checkpoints and reports, ensuring that Freedom's sales origination partners are adhering to policies outlined in Freedom's Independent Dealer Agreements
  • Establish an escalation review process and committee made up of various stakeholders to examine individual Sales Representative and Dealer complaints and issue penalties when appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • High School Graduate or GED
Experience:
  • 4+ years of managerial experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge in residential solar photovoltaic industry, including utility policies and rate structures
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with confidence, drive, enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility and fair play
  • Strategic leadership and decision-making
  • Excellent complex multi-functional project and people management skills
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Must be innovative, proactive and a team player
  • Must be able to plan, prioritize and implement

Special Skills & Training:
  • Basic financial knowledge of revenue and profitability
  • Analytical expertise in understanding complex issues and their consequences
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
