POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Compliance department is the gating point for the technical approvals of Ainsworth products in all Jurisdictions, whether regulated or unregulated. Regulated approvals are achieved through combinations of internal and external testing. Product Compliance Manager is responsible for complex technical assignments which will the management of a team of Product Compliance Representatives, gather and maintain a library of global regulations, be the POC for customer notifications, manage and control compliance inventory internally and externally, establish ownership of the ordering process, create process and procedures, be in direct contact with independent Test Labs and Regulatory agencies.

POSITION REPORTS TO: Technical Compliance Director

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervisory responsibilities include employment matters, team development, and disciplinary actions for a team of representatives and participate in a team responsible for complex technical assignments, allocating administration resources,
  • Technical Compliance Manager position will provide support to the Technical Compliance Director as required.
  • Main contact for regulatory inquiries and document requests, and provide reporting of duties, projects, and staff assignments to upper management.
  • Create, continually improve, and audit administration policies, procedures, tools, templates, documents, submissions forms to be to provide internal and external to AGT.
  • This role is expected to assist the manager and other department leadership to oversee and manage activities related to:
    • Establishing a manageable regulation library.
    • Gather and maintain updates to all regulations.
    • Coordinate and review regulatory responses to proposed regulations, policy or procedural changes related to gaming products across multiple product lines.
    • Oversee the submission integration of new requirements into the organization with internal staff, ensuring compliance through Independent Test Labs (ITLs) and regulators requirements.
    • Manage departmental queries related to product approvals to ensure project timelines are met.
    • Identify issues that threaten the critical path to project completion and escalate as needed.
    • Manage ITL costs and budgets, manage game approvals timing.
    • Reviewing product submissions, and testing scripts and methods utilized, to establish high quality submissions, achieved in a timely manner while staying current on rules, regulations, and legislative requirements of the various gaming jurisdictions as it pertains to products.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Learn and comprehend casino gaming products and systems on a technical level, regulatory environments, and principles of compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the resolution of complex tasks is required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly accurate and organized.
  • Experience in data entry.
  • Two (2) or more years prior experience managing a team of people is required.
  • High level Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word).
  • Understanding of the regulatory and compliance issues in global gaming markets.
  • Willingness to learn and the ability to retain the knowledge base.
  • Knowledge of world-wide regulatory requirements of Gaming Devices, and related products
  • Knowledge and experience on executing and developing test scripts.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulation, technical standards (for Class II and Class III) and internal controls is preferred.

This position requires registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and potential for other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
