Job Title: Financial Analyst/Business Operations Analyst

Location: 100 S. 17th St., Camden, NJ

Responsibilities

Support the operational business function for the Military Services Group (CSG) contracts. Manage capital project setup, execution, and closure, including price filings with the government. Assist in price development and modeling for potential business opportunities. Review, manipulate, and update large data sets associated with finance and other operational databases. Assist manager with financial data review, including actual vs. budget analytics, expense trends, and data accuracy. Provide variance commentary and analysis. Utilize strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, sum-if formulas, and data tables. Preferably have SAP experience for data management. Understand GAAP accounting principles, including monthly accruals, revenue recognition, and expense transfers. Interpret and analyze financial statements. Prior utilities industry experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint for creating reports and presentations. General working knowledge of GIS desired.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar analytical role. Excellent Excel skills with the ability to handle large datasets and perform complex analyses. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
