Key Accountabilities

  • Work with Engineering and IT to establish new network connections including cabling and setting up Wi-Fi to production equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain VM server's hardware and software, (Stratus Servers, VMware).
  • Install, configure, and manage data collection systems for production equipment including PLC's, HMI's, and process measurement systems (Iba systems, Rockwell Historian).
  • Manage system software licensing and support contracts.
  • Install, configure, and manage Alarm Notification Servers (TopView).
  • Maintain and update network diagrams and documentation.
  • Setup and configure historian report generators and portals for end-user.
  • Data archive management.
  • Collaborate with division managers in reviewing data to identify and assess equipment needs and/or efficiencies.
  • Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred. Or a technical degree in an area such as SCADA or Industrial Networking with related experience.
  • Two to five years of experience in information systems or related field, preferred.
  • Experience with Data Analysis Software, VMware, Rockwell Historian, PLC Communications a plus.
  • Proficiency in system management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines.
  • Exposure or previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
