Madison, United States Dairyland Laboratories Inc Full time

JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for overseeing the daily financial resources of Dairyland Laboratories. This will include responsibility for daily accounts receivable/payable, purchasing supplies, issuing purchase orders, and working with customers to assist with accounting related questions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Accounts Receivable responsibilities:

Process invoices Apply payments Answer customer questions Create and apply credit memos Recover Aged AR

Enter invoices and code Accounts Payable transactions Apply customer credit cards to accounts Assist with general data collection from various vendors (W-9, proof of insurance, etc) Assist with financial ledgers, accounting procedures, compliance, reporting, reconciliation, and account analysis Reconcile internal credit cards Purchase general office supplies General record keeping and filing tasks Assist Controller in asset tracking Keeps records of contracts for purchased services Other duties as assigned by Supervisor COMPETENCIES Maintain a high level of confidentiality Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office products Knowledge of and able to operate common office equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to make decisions sometimes immediately Excellent multi-tasking ability and time management skills Excellent listening and organizational skills Be accurate and detail oriented Ability to move around in an office environment during a workday Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and produce accurate documentation. Excellent understanding of accounting principles and reports Basic understanding of S-Corp structure and laws Strong sense of good customer service EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance;

required . A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in related field of financial experience;

preferred experience LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZATIONS REQUIRED: Valid driver's License PHYSICAL DEMANDS Regularly 70-100% Sitting Use of Hands and Fingers Talking Hearing/Listening Vision-Near/Far/Depth Perception WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed largely in an office environment with moderate noise level Concentration in an open-office "cubicle" environment There may be occasions when the work environment is stressful Will be exposed to, but not limited to, feed, forage, dust, molds, smoke, strong odors, and allergens (i.e. nuts) on a regular basis Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday with occasional evening/weekend hours depending upon need
