From your PASSION to ours
Maintenance Technician role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing processing and packaging equipment and distribution systems through a broad knowledge base of manufacturing skills in electrical, controls and mechanical disciplines involving work of a varied nature with minimum supervision, resulting in efficient and reliable operation of plant facilities.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
Maintenance Technician
* Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and facilities, and aid in the manufacturing of all company products in a safe and sanitary work environment.
* Perform emergency repairs in breakdown situations.
* Some overtime & weekend " off hours" availability as needed even without forecast.
* Perform and follow all OSHA guidelines regarding work and safety manuals.
* Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled.
* Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
* Write simple correspondence, and complete manufacturing documentation completely.
* Ability to disassemble and assemble all parts of machines and support equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications.
* Work in a safe and professional manner demonstrating positive attitude and professional demeanor in the performance of daily work
SQF Requirements:
* Maintain food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
* Required to wear food safety/sanitation PPE (provided by company).
* This position necessitates conformance to personal hygiene regulations.
* Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
* Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
* Must be able to assess all areas of machines and support equipment in Dairy facility.
* Be able to read basic electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
* Knowledge of hydraulic / pneumatic systems.
* Knowledge of boiler function and operation.
* 3-5 years' experience in maintenance divisions or experience in a related position.
* Ability to perform TIG welding
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
This is a 12 hour shift 6pm-6am (Every other Weekend off):
Week 1: 48 Hours, Week 2: 36 hours
Week 1: Sat-On, Sun-On, Mon-Off, Tues-Off, Wed-On, Thurs-On, Fri-Off
Week 2: Sat-Off, Sun-Off, Mon-On, Tues-On, Wed-Off, Thurs-Off, Fri-On
