**Responsibilities**

**$600.00 Sign-on Bonus**

Responsible for ensuring that the preparation and presentation of meals and snacks to residents, guests and families meet Newport Academys standard of culinary excellence.

**Essential Duties**

* Open and close the kitchen as needed.

* Communicate performance or disciplinary issues to the Chef.

* Assign tasks during shift.

* Prepare/present breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks on a daily basis.

* Provide healthful, nutritious, and organic meals/snacks as directed

* Ensure overall kitchen cleanliness including refrigerators, freezers, ovens, floors, dishes after each meal, and food prep.

* Ensure Kitchen adheres to state health and hygiene requirements and Newport Healthcare standards.

**Qualifications**

* Experience of 1.5 -3 years in various kitchen settings
