Senior Patient Financial Counselor

The Senior Patient Financial Counselor is responsible for insurance and eligibility verifications and assessment of financial requirements of recommended treatments including, but not limited to, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, office visits, integrated supportive care services, and other cancer-related therapy or services. The Senior Patient Financial Counselor counsels the patient on insurance benefits, co-payments, and out of pocket expenses.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Accounting, business administration, or related field. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 2 years Prior background in a healthcare setting of billing, financial counseling, or financial advocacy with proficiency in medical terminology.
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, business administration, or related field.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
