A key role in the gaming and interactive team. This role looks after our Roblox and UGC gaming product strategy managing the creative direction of our products and the relationships with our 3rd Party Studios. Experience of shipping and running Roblox or UGC games at scale is essential.

This role is full time from our Los Angeles office. Responsibilities Creative Direction and strategy for our UGC gaming initiatives. Drive/improve user engagement through product enhancements Proactively seek continuous improvement in existing and new gaming development Sourcing and managing ongoing relationships with 3rd party development studios, many of whom may be overseas Finance management of 3rd party studios, assessing ROI on a continued basis in partnership with our financial and commercial teams Owning the product strategy for UGC gaming helping to form long-term strategic positions and developing product roadmaps through to execution Partner with stakeholders (internal and external) and global partners to comprehend market demand, user needs, and competition in order to create a product that delivers an exceptional experience to our users Set Beta / Soft Launch / Launch KPI's for the game during development and testing phase Ensure feedback from testing phases and areas of improvements are addressed Gather data analysis and performance metrics of key game KPI’s Conduct in-depth market/competitor analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential threats to inform decision-making processes Scoping GDDs in partnership with the broader Moonbug team and our studio partners Ongoing live ops strategy Linking technical strategy with product and 3rd party studios Managing a team of developers (in-house or third parties) Project manage delivery of new gaming initiatives Present regularly to key business stakeholders of gaming performance and new initiatives

Requirements Experience in running scaled Roblox or UGC games with millions of players Have a track record of contributing to both the commercial success of gaming launches through monetization, as well as engaging gameplay Able to demonstrate an ability to adapt to delivery gaming strategies to a different target markets/audiences and prioritize user experience to drive engagement. Experience managing developers, community and/or studios in the UGC gaming space Excellent leadership qualities and resilience to overcome challenges You must be comfortable working in a small team, willing to be hands on from small tasks to large scale projects. Clear communications skills, and be able to influence and negotiate with stakeholders A strong analytical mindset, as well as being a creative visionary for development of gaming Excellent attention to detail A demonstrable passion for gaming
