Who You Are:

You're not just a numbers person-you're a strategic thinker with a love for the outdoors and the game of golf. With 5-7 years of accounting experience under your belt (CPA preferred), you're ready to take on a role that isn't just about crunching numbers. It's about creating systems that work, forecasting for the future, and working directly with management to guide the financial health of our newest resorts. This position will be based at Wild Springs Dunes in Mt. Enterprise, TX.

Rodeo Dunes will be a public golf resort set on over 4,000 acres of towering sand dunes reminiscent of the southwest coast of Ireland, Rodeo Dunes is set to become a world-class golf destination. Two course routings are complete, and construction is underway. Rodeo Dunes is located less than an hour from Denver and Denver International Airport, and just a short drive from the Fort Collins and Colorado Springs areas.

Wild Spring Dunes will be a premier public golf resort and refuge where world-class golf meets unparalleled accommodations and homesites. Featuring two expertly routed courses with plans for a short course and practice center, our resort offers a diverse and comprehensive golfing experience. Wild Spring Dunes is located in historic East Texas, two hours from both Dallas and Houston and 25 minutes from nearby Nacogdoches.

What You'll Do:

    • Oversee all accounting activities for Rodeo Dunes and Wild Spring Dunes-two new breathtaking golf destinations in Colorado and Texas.
    • Manage day-to-day accounting functions like accounts payable, payroll, cash management, and state and local tax filings.
    • Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, and cash flow projections, partnering with department heads to create budgets that drive success.
    • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures that protect our financial integrity while supporting our rapid growth.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and keep our financial records accurate and up-to-date.
    • Work directly with management to provide insights that help shape business strategy.
What We're Looking For:
    • A degree in accounting or finance (bonus points for a CPA) is required.
    • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
    • Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, and preferably Microsoft Dynamics GP.
    • The ability to solve problems on the fly, stay organized, and communicate clearly with your team.
    • A passion for collaboration, a positive attitude, and attention to detail.
