Territory Success Manager

Our client is bringing on dynamic individuals for their expanding organization in the US Theyre in fast moving consumer goods, and this role goes beyond the traditional sales role to unlock the untapped potential of this category for retailers.

No cold calling is required, but you will need to fully understand the full-cycle of this category and what external factors impact the territory performance by analyzing all available data.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Impact: Educate retailers on the strategic importance in driving overall sales and unlocking new business opportunities.

Hybrid Work Environment: Embrace the "hybrid" nature of the role, including travel to customer sites.

Territory Management: Take charge of route planning and objective setting for your territory. Dive deep into data analysis to understand external factors influencing territory performance.

Business Influence: Deliver compelling business insights to influence and maximize the impact of tobacco on various store categories. Implement contracts for mutual benefit.

Triple Win Approach: Demonstrate a "Triple Win" approach during the selling process, showcasing how our offerings benefit the retailer, consumers, and our company.

Educational Advocacy: Ensure point-of-sale staff are well-informed about the correct tobacco assortment and the significance of product availability.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years in FMCG sales. Retail wholesale experience is a standout.

Proficiency in MS Office, strong commercial understanding, good negotiation skills, advanced communication skills, advanced selling skills (triple-win-approach), and advanced category management knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $70k base, plus 10% bonuses.

Note: This role is considered on-site with clients in your respective territory, NOT fully remote throughout the country.
