  • Demonstrate and be able and willing to further develop a strong understanding and knowledge of US EPA, CARB, and ECCC engine compliance regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Internal Combustion (IC) engines/equipment with IC engines.
  • Ensure compliance of TMH engines and products with US EPA, CARB, and ECCC regulations, covering aspects such as Engine Labels, Delegated Assembly, Annual Affidavits, Replacement Engines, Selective Enforcement Audit Testing, Confirmatory Testing, In Use Testing, Exemptions, etc.
  • Establish, design, and test compliance standards for new products based on sales destination by researching and identifying applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes.
  • Lead compliance-related data compilation, documentation retention and submissions for agencies.
  • Interface with and provide documentation to the regulators as needed.
  • Strategize and Develop compliance requirements for new product development projects and maintain compliance status for current and legacy products.
  • Lead and Collaborate with TICO, TMH and other cross-functional teams on current and new compliance related activities and product programs
  • Compile compliance documentation, review with Technical Advisor (Emissions), and submit the documentation to the agencies, ensuring consistency in all compliance documentation.
  • Lead and Perform audits of the compliance data and documentation at regular intervals - includes cross-functional audits as required.
  • Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams on product compliance related activities.
  • Provide guidance and input to training materials for cross-functional teams on compliance requirements, issues, and timelines.
  • Integrate continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the roles and responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Environmental engineering, Design, or similar field)
  • Strong commitment to compliance, confidentiality, integrity, and ethical behavior
  • 3+ years of experience in engine, engine related product or manufacturing fields
  • Strong understanding of engine, engine emissions, after treatment function and components
  • Experience working in the regulatory compliance and certification documentation areas/field.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and training team members.
  • Experience in compiling and maintaining compliance documentation, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all products.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and make connections between the regulatory compliance scenarios and TMH business priorities.
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Strong commitment to compliance, problem-solving skills, and drive, with an ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives in parallel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively on compliance topics with different departments and regulatory agencies.
  • Self-motivated individual who is passionate about creating sustainable change
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Design, or similar field)
  • Knowledge of gas/LPG / diesel engine calibration development / testing.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and tools like CDX, E-Cert, etc.
