With a dedicated team of over 1,300 employees and an impressive average tenure of 10+ years, they have built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional projects. Their diverse portfolio includes hospitals, universities, government facilities, embassies, historic landmarks, hotels, retail spaces, office buildings, residential properties, and major mixed-use developments. The company focuses on hospitality and multifamily/mixed-use projects, generating an average annual revenue exceeding $100M. Located in Bethesda, MD, they operate within the DC Metro area, including 495, DC, and NoVA.

Description

My client is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in new construction projects.

  • Manage daily field operations to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain project schedules and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintaining detailed reports
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to address and resolve any issues promptly
  • Uphold a culture of teamwork and excellence on the job site

Profile

  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
  • Experience with new construction projects $50M+
  • Proven track record of running jobs from cradle to grave
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings
  • Proficiency in PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
