Job Type Full-timeDescriptionUniversity Physicians' Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Abstractor / Patient Service Representative (PSR) for UNIVERSITY HEART SURGEONS, a specialty office located within the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.Job duties include:Enter abstracted data- important diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment data from medical records into electronic health recordPrepare medical chartsScanning health records into EMRWorks well with provider and staffGreet patients in friendly and timely mannerAnswer phones in a timely mannerRefers patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to medical assistant or physicianSchedules patients with appropriate physicianOther duties as assigned Great team environment and full benefit package available We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Sick Leave, 401K with company match and immediate vesting, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, Critical Illness, EAP and more.
