Records Filing Clerk

Location: on-site in St. Paul

Position Type: Contract (6-8 Weeks)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Records Filing Clerk for a short-term contract position to assist with the filing and organization of medical records. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work autonomously, and excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with filing or records management and be comfortable lifting boxes and organizing physical documentation.

Compensation and Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, daytime hours flexible
  • $18 - $20 Hourly
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and file medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Sort and categorize files based on established systems.
  • Maintain proper filing procedures to ensure easy retrieval and security of sensitive information.
  • Label and store medical records in an orderly manner.
  • Lift and transport boxes of records as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant privacy and confidentiality standards.
  • Assist with any additional clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in filing, records management, or a similar administrative role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 40lbs).
  • Experience with medical records management or HIPAA compliance is a plus, but not required.
