We are currently seeking a Full-Time Front Desk/ Patient Services Coordinator to join our growing team in Jersey City, NJ. Scheduled work hours are: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm with one Sunday a month starting at 6:30am out of the Englewood, NJ location and rotating holidays out of the Basking Ridge location.This Patient Services Coordinator maintains patient satisfaction by answering patient phone calls, scheduling appointments, responding to non-clinical requests from patients and staff as well as greeting patients and moving them through a predetermined schedule of appointments. This position resolves problems by working in concert with members of our multi-disciplinary teams to present a positive Practice image to our patients, referring physicians, and the general public.How You'll Contribute:At RMANJ we always do whatever it takes to ensure an exceptional patient experience. In general, the Patient Services Coordinator will be responsible for:Responsibilities include:Welcome and greet patients and visitorsAnswer patient phone callsMaintain a professional composed demeanorComfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questionsSchedule patient appointmentsFollow physician appointment templatesAssess schedule conflicts and problems with recommendations for solutionsMaintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating patient demographic, financial and insurance informationCollect co-pays and patient paymentsWork with the nurses to coordinate total patient careCollaborate with the Finance Department to make sure all reimbursement/insurance information has been receivedSkills & Requirements:High School Diploma (GED) required. Associate degree preferredMinimum 1 year as a medical office receptionistMinimum 3 years customer services experienceExcellent computer skills High level of listening skillsAbility to communicate accurately and conciselyExcellent interpersonal skillsAptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgmentAbility to work in a high standard, stressful environmentMust be available to work weekends and overtime as neededMust be available to rotate to RMANJ satellite offices as needed
