Job Summary: The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the vehicle display areas, receiving and shipping vehicles, scanning inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. This role also involves lot maintenance, vehicle preparation for shipment, and photo documentation for the company website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute processes according to work instructions and standardized work
  • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Train new associates under guidance of Inventory Associate II or Manager
  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
  • Maintain lot cleanliness and security
  • Receive and secure vehicles shipped to the location
  • Prepare vehicles and documentation for shipment to other locations
  • Complete scanning of vehicles for accurate product status
  • Perform vehicle wash and detailing tasks
  • Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs and storage
  • Support auction activities, if applicable
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization in accordance with company standards
  • Other duties as assigned by Managers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current driver's license and ability to meet company standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely
  • Complete Inventory Associate Workstation Certifications and Assigned Workday Learnings

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor and outdoor work environments including noisy and inclement weather conditions
  • Flexible work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical requirements: walking or standing for extended periods in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Adherence to company standards including wearing CarMax clothing, safety protocols, and waste disposal guidelines
