This is a first shift position, working Monday-Friday, 7:30AM – 4PM. This position requires you to train in our Chicago, IL location until the Lockport location opens at the beginning of June. Functional knowledge of ERP Systems, Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management modules Ability to deliver clear and informative written and oral communication. Ability to be certified in the operation of powered industrial lift trucks. Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. What you will be doing: Back up other Coordinators functional areas through comprehensive cross training activities. Provide backup for Team Lead including building and transmitting shipments to third party logistics providers, monitoring third party interface for accuracy, coordinate decisions with Transportation Planner, and execute on order processing requirements in SAP. Communicate with other functional areas of the operation (sales, planning, purchasing, customer Service, quality, and production) to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries, warehouse efficiency and accurate inventory. Other business support functions at Supervisor’s discretion. Maintain a neat, orderly work area in accordance with established 6S principles. Perform all job functions safely by following established safety protocols.
