Job Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Operations Consulting Group (OCG) Project Manager is a project management expert, mentor and advocate. They are a trusted partner with the ability to lead internal and external teams to align on a mutual understanding of all deliverables and drive them to successful completion. The OCG Project Manager will utilize a portfolio of work products to oversee and manage a cross-functional team delivering clinical and non-clinical solutions across the enterprise. They will partner with other departments to resolve operational issues, champion continuous optimization of processes and advocate for the overall Project Management Team.

The OCG Project Manager will at a minimum, prepare, organize, administer, document, control, and communicate project activities, as directed, from project initiation to project completion. They will report to the Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) and work in concert with other OCG Project Managers as well as Clinical and Non-Clinical OCG consultants within the department to support the strategic vision of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Major in Project Management, Healthcare, Business, Industrial/Systems Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum three years direct work experience in project management, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Previous experience with healthcare financial and clinical systems or Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; work experience will be considered in lieu of certification.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
Knowledge & skills:
  • Demonstrated ability in systems implementation and project management in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Essential to possess self-starting qualities and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, required. T

  • Demonstrated ability in systems implementation and project management in a healthcare setting preferred.
Travel Requirements:
  • This position follows a hybrid working model.
  • The OCG Project Manager may be expected to travel to any Inspira Campus or location in the Southern New Jersey region in support of project work.
