Environmental Senior Project Manager/Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Senior Project Manager/Project Manager for a fast-growing environmental consulting/contracting company located in the New York Metro area. The Geologist/Environmental Scientist will be working closely with the Operations Manager on a daily basis and involved with various environmental projects locally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- Manage projects from to start to finish with little to no supervision in order to meet client and organizational needs;
- Ability to provide daily, weekly and monthly updates on projects and staff to Operations Manager;
- Participate in the development of junior staff and work with the Operations Manager to continue growing individually along with contributing towards the overall growth of the company.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 7 years of environmental consulting experience (Phase I/II/III, Brownfield, E-Designation Sites, etc.)
- Bachelors Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or relevant field;
- Professional Geologist License is preferred;
- Experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on site investigation and remediation projects;
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of field personnel;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, regulators, and team members;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software;
- OSHA HAZWOPER certification;
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
